At its core, E Pluribus is grounded in a simple idea: immigration policy is economic policy. Immigrants are critical contributors to business growth, workforce development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community revitalization. Communities that intentionally include immigrants in their economic development strategies are better positioned to grow, compete, and thrive.
E Pluribus is a national initiative of Global Detroit advancing immigrant-inclusive economic development across the United States. We work with local leaders, economic development practitioners, workforce systems, chambers of commerce, universities, employers, nonprofits, and government partners to strengthen local economies by intentionally including immigrants.
